Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Range called the meeting to order at 6:49 PM ET. In-person participation count was 18
attendees. Mr. Range welcomed Mr. Jason Price, Southeast Regional coordinator from
North Central Florida IMRG Chapter #2059, who was in attendance to update us on the
upcoming September ride to benefit Folds of Honor Charity and other future events.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of July 10, 2025, as presented on the
website. Jim Hinzman made a motion, seconded by Deborah Hinzman. Motion passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Range reported on the following:
o Planning for upcoming Biketoberfest underway: we will have daily rides on
Thursday and Friday (organized by the Activities Committee) and a Saturday ride
departing from the dealership and returning for a day of activities, with food
trucks and demo rides.
o Sunday August 24, short breakfast ride to Oceanside Bar & Grill departing from
Destination Daytona and led by Fran Dougherty.
o IMRG Wells Fargo bank account update: Mr. Range reported that the funds have
been recovered, the original account has been closed and the IMRG has a new
active account, with IMRG 1949 as the first proprietor, and Mr. Range as
second.

Mr. Jason Price updated the group on the following events:
o Folds of Honor Poker Run at Decision Tactical in Sanford a week before the
September 20 Folds of Honor main event. The theme will be “James Bond”.
o September 20 Folds of Honor Scavenger Hunt/ride: teams wishing to participate
must register in advance. Donations are $10 per person, and the ride will
feature 4 stops where teams will have to take creative photos.
o September 20 Folds of Honor fundraiser main event: Mr. Price explained that
there are two ways to donate to the fundraiser: via individual donations (prizes
for the individual who raises the higher amount) and donations to the registered
IMRG chapters. The Charity Ride will take place in Sanford, FL on Saturday
September 20 from 11 AM to 4 PM and is organized by North Central Florida

IMRG 2059. It will feature a moto rally, live music, car show, a silent auction and
more.
o Mr. Price confirmed that during the FOH September 20 main event, our chapter
is welcomed to participate and add items for the Silent Auction. The Activities
Committee will organize.
o Mr. Price also mentioned the upcoming October Jacks Daniel’s Ride 3-day event,
that will take place in Chattanooga, TN. There will be rides on the days
preceding the formal event, which are available on Ride Command.
o Lastly, Mr. Price talked about the Multi Chapter IMRG Christmas Party, which
will take place on December 7 in Mt. Dora, with a Santa Parade afterwards.

Vice President’s and Membership Report
 Mr. Dougherty reported there are no new members at this time.
 He also mentioned that there is now a FB chat for all Florida IMRG members
attending the Jack Daniels ride to be able to communicate and coordinate, during
October’s Jack Daniel’s event.
 Mr. Dougherty also created a chat for the Jack Daniels event for 1949 IMRG
members to communicate and plan, this was useful during the Gathering event in
Maggie Valley.
Treasurer’s Report
 Ms. Kozinski reported on the IMRG funds balance.
Action Items:
Follow-up on PayPal payment option on our website.
Secretary Report:
 Ms. Dougherty had no updates to report at this time.
Web Director’s Report:
 Mr. Benham had no updates to report but he asked members to reach out with any
suggestions or revisions to the IMRG website that he manages.
Safety Director’s Report
 Mr. Morris was absent.
Activities Committee’s Report
Ms. Davis reported on the following:
 Planning for Biketoberfest 2025 (October 16-19) is underway. We will organize
daily rides and call for volunteers to support the IMRG membership tent at the
dealership.
 New Member Open House/monthly meeting in November at dealership. Ms. Davis
will coordinate with dealership management.
 December 5 ride to benefit Magnolia Manor Assisted Living facility in Daytona
Beach. Asking for donations of toiletries, socks, candy and other items. Donations
will be collected at the September, October and November meetings.
 August rides: Mr. Davis and Mr. Duckworth announced the two monthly rides:
o Silver Spring State Park on Saturday 8/9
o Oceanside Bar & Grill on Sunday 8/24

 Mr. Duckworth announced we have secured the donation of high visibility vests for
our Road Captains and Ride Leaders. Brave Wolf Customs donated several vests
with our IMRG logo.
 Ms. Davis announced that we have updates on our IMRG membership rates:
o $45 annual fee for members joining now or in January 2026, which includes
a big patch.
o $30 annual fee for a family membership (rider + passenger)
o $20 annual renewal fee for existing individual members

Action Item: report at next meeting: Mr. Davis will find out about the Rider’s Training
course at Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona, as there are many members interested in
participating.
Final Comments and Adjournment
 Mr. Davis called for volunteers for Ride Leaders.
 Next meeting will be on Thursday September 4.
 With no further business, Mr. Range adjourned the meeting at 8:25 PM ET.
