Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:
Ron Range, President; Fran Dougherty, Vice President & Membership Director; May Dougherty,
Secretary; Tammy Kozinski, Treasurer; Joshua Benham, Web Director
Volunteer Positions: Therese Davis, Activities Committee; Bruce Davis, Activities Committee; Jeff
Duckworth, Activities Committee
Officers/Volunteers absent: Steve Morris, Safety Director

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Range called the meeting to order at 6:40 PM ET. In-person participation count was 20
attendees.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of August 7, 2025, as presented on
the website. Tammy Kozinski made a motion, seconded by Therese Davis. Motion passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Range reported on the following:
o Upcoming ride to Sparky’s Place this Saturday 9/6. KSU at 8:15 AM from
RaceTrac.
o September 20 Folds of Honor fundraiser main event: IMRG 1949 will be meeting
at the dealership in Daytona to ride together to Sanford. KSU is 10 AM.
o Upcoming October Jacks Daniel’s Ride 3-day event, that will take place in
Chattanooga, TN. There will be rides on the days preceding the formal event,
which are available on Ride Command.
o Planning for upcoming Biketoberfest underway: we will have two daily rides on
Thursday and Friday and Saturday (organized by the Activities Committee) all
departing from the dealership and returning for a day of activities, with food
trucks and demo rides.
Vice President’s and Membership Report
 Mr. Dougherty reported that there were no new members at this time.
 Reminder of the Folds of Honor Poker Run at Decision Tactical in Sanford a week
before the September 20 Folds of Honor main event. The Palm Bay Chapter is also
organizing a Poker Run on September 14.
 He also mentioned that Crescent City, FL is organizing the city’s first bike rally on
October 25 and suggested we support the event. A decision was made to make this
an official ride that will be added to the calendar instead of the planned October 26
ride.
Treasurer’s Report
 Ms. Kozinski reported on the IMRG funds balance.

 Ms. Kozinski informed the IMRG that she is resigning from her position as Treasurer
due to family obligations.
Secretary Report:
 Ms. Dougherty provided a brief report on the activities of the Indian Ladies First
group: a delegation from Europe that includes the President, Karine Truqui and
other members of the Association, will visit for Bike Week 2026. Ms. Dougherty
called for support in hosting the group and possibly organizing a Women’s ride.
Web Director’s Report:
 Mr. Benham had no updates to report but he asked members to reach out with any
suggestions or revisions to the IMRG website that he manages.
 Please send him photos or media for the IMRG Instagram account.
 Credit card payment capability on our website is underway.
Safety Director’s Report
 Mr. Morris was absent.
Activities Committee’s Report
Ms. Davis reported on the following:
 Planning for Biketoberfest 2025 (October 16-19) is underway. We will organize
daily rides and call for volunteers to support the IMRG membership tent at the
dealership for Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at 9 AM.
 New Member Open House/monthly meeting on the first Thursday in November at
the dealership. This meeting will serve a dual purpose as an orientation for new
members and monthly meeting. Speakers will be Michael Lefiles and Fran
Dougherty.
 December 5 ride to benefit Magnolia Manor Assisted Living facility in Daytona
Beach. Asking for donations of toiletries, socks, candy and other items. Donations
will be collected at the September, October and November meetings.
 The committee suggested that the December meeting serves as our IMRG private
Christmas celebration and meeting. Members agreed unanimously.
 Mr. Duckworth provided a recap of August rides.
Action Item: report at next meeting: Mr. Davis will find out about the Rider’s Training
course at Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona, as there are many members interested in
participating.

Final Comments and Adjournment
 Mr. Range announced that he will be resigning from his position as President.
Officer elections will take place at the December meeting, and open positions are
President and Treasurer.
 With no further business, Mr. Range adjourned the meeting at 8:05 PM ET.
