Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:

Officers/Volunteers absent: Joshua Benham, Web Director

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Range called the meeting to order at 6:43 PM ET. In-person participation count was 21
attendees.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the September 4, 2025 meeting as
presented on the website. Therese Davis made a motion, seconded by Steve Morris. Motion
passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Range reported on the following:
o September 20 Folds of Honor fundraiser debrief: IMRG 1949 showed up at
Sanford for the multichapter event, which was well attended. Our chapter was
able to collaborate with the silent auction to raise funds. We raised as a chapter
a total of $1,000 for the charity.
o Preparations for upcoming Biketoberfest: we will have two daily rides on
Thursday, Friday and Saturday (organized by the Activities Committee) all
departing from the dealership. Our IMRG will be at the dealership with our
membership tent. It was noted that the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce
reached out to ask about our daily rides schedule to post on their social media
page.
o Upcoming October Jacks Daniel’s Ride 3-day event, which will take place in
Chattanooga, TN. Our RC asked for our ride leader’s help on the Friday ride to
the JD distillery.
o Multi Chapter Christmas party on Saturday December 6 is being organized by
the Sanford IMRG. Location is Mt. Dora. A short Christmas parade will follow the
party.

Vice President’s and Membership Report
 Mr. Dougherty reported that there were no new members at this time.
 Call to ride leaders to help during Jack Daniels, and comments on the event.
 Reminder of the ride to Crescent City Bikefest on October 25.

Treasurer’s Report
 Treasurer position is vacant as Ms. Kozinski resigned due to family obligations. Mr.
Range called for volunteers to fill the position.
 Mr. Range as the interim Treasurer, reported on the chapter available funds.
 Implementation of the website credit card payment capability is underway, and our
Web Director has the information he needs to set it up.
Secretary Report:
 Ms. Dougherty announced that she has created a public Facebook page for the
Indian Ladies First in the Southeast region of the US, and she asked members to
spread the word, and to like and share to support growth.
Web Director’s Report:
 Mr. Benham had no updates to report but he asked members to reach out with any
suggestions or revisions to the IMRG website that he manages.
 Please send him photos or media for the IMRG Instagram account.
 Follow-up item: Credit card payment capability on our website is underway.
Safety Director’s Report
 Mr. Morris distributed within the members present a fillable emergency contact
information card to be carried in our motorcycles, in case of accident.
Activities Committee’s Report
Mr. Duckworth and Ms. + Mr. Davis reported on the following:
 Biketoberfest 2025 (October 16-19) daily rides: a morning longer ride and a
shorter afternoon ride on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
 A flyer with the rides schedule has been created and 500 copies printed. The copies
will be added to the welcome packet at the Jack Daniel’s event. Our dealership
covered the cost of printing the flyers.
 Call for volunteers to support the IMRG membership tent at the dealership for
Thursday, Friday and the Saturday morning breakfast and bigger ride. Calling for
ride leaders to keep the expected large group organized and safe.
 Tucker the IMRG mascot stickers will be available.
 The Sunday October 26 ride will be switched to Saturday October 25 and the
destination will be the first Annual Crescent City BikeFest. KSU is 9:30 am at
RaceTrac.
 November 6 at 6:30 PM, is the New Member Open House/general monthly
meeting and will take place at the dealership. This meeting will serve a dual
purpose as an orientation for new members and the regular monthly meeting.
Speakers will be Michael Lefiles and Fran Dougherty.
 December 4 meeting at Houligan’s will serve as our IMRG private Christmas
celebration and regular business meeting. There will be games and door prizes.
During this meeting an election of officers will be conducted.
 December 5 ride to benefit Magnolia Manor Assisted Living facility in Daytona
Beach. Asking for donations of toiletries, socks, candy and other items. Donations
will be collected at the November meeting and with an Amazon wish list that has
been implemented.
 Mr. Duckworth asked for feedback from past rides, if any.

Action Item: report at next meeting: Mr. Davis will find out about the Rider’s Training
course at Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona, as there are many members interested in
participating.
Final Comments and Adjournment
 Call for ideas for next year’s fundraiser Folds of Honor Charity. IMRG 1949 would
like to organize our own event.
 Mr. Range suggested a river cruise departing from Sanford as an activity for 2026.
 A calendar of IMRG events, official owners’ rides and other biker rallies for 2026 will
be added to the website.
