
Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Dougherty, in Mr. Range’s absence, called the meeting to order at 6:32 PM ET. In-person participation count was 22 attendees.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Dougherty asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the April 3, 2025; meeting as presented on the website. Tammy Kozinski made a motion, seconded by Peter Kahuda. Motion passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Dougherty reported on the following:
Past Rides debrief:
• Multi Chapter ride and lunch to Parrot Island, Lake Okeechobee on April 26. Long ride but a very nice group of fellow IMRG riders from several Florida chapters.
• Fun Ghost Riders weekend in St Agustine on April 11-12. Do not miss it next year.
Upcoming Rides:
• Saturday May 3rd, International Female Ride Day. Led by Bruce Davis. KSU at 8:30 AM from RaceTrac. Riding to meet a larger group at Rosso Café in Longwood, break in Umatilla, then ride to Henry’s Depot in Sanford for lunch and afterparty.
• Mr. Dougherty then called Mr. Davis to elaborate on the upcoming rides for May and June:
• Sunday May 18: Ride to Ocala through horse country. KSU at 8:30 AM Love’s Travel Stop at Destination Daytona. Bruce Davis leading.
• Saturday June 7: ride to Crooked Can Brewery in Winter Garden.
• Additional rides throughout July have been posted on the IMRG website calendar.
Vice President’s and Membership Report
◦ Mr. Dougherty gave the group an update on the Folds of Honor fundraiser for 2025 and raised the suggestion of organizing raffles to raise funds.
◦ Mr. Dougherty also gave the group a presentation on group riding safety, which was very well received by attendees and created an engaged discussion and questions.
Treasurer’s Report
• Ms. Kozinski reported on the efforts to recover the IMRG funds currently at the Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Range is working on the list of documents required by the bank to retrieve the funds and close the account. No further updates at this time.
Action Item: Report outcome at next meeting.
• Ms. Kozinski also mentioned that she has worked with Mr. Behnam to add to the Treasurer Gmail address a Google Drive, which will used to store important documents for upcoming Treasurers and/or Officers to have a source of information for the future. All Gmail accounts login and password information for the Officers will be stored in Google Drive.
• Ms. Kozinski is also working with Mr. Benham on setting up a PayPal payment option on our website which will facilitate the payment of membership dues.

Secretary Report:
• Ms. Dougherty provided additional details and updates on the International Female Day Ride on Saturday May 3rd.
Web Director’s Report:
Mr. Benham had no updates at this time.
Safety Director’s Report
Mr. Morris was absent.
Activities Committee’s Report
Ms. Davis reported on the following:
• Our flag with the IMRG logo was presented at the meeting and was very well received.
• Mr. Davis talked about the upcoming “destination” rides, which have been posted on the website. We have rides planned until July.
• Mr. Davis also reminded members that in the Summer, rides will start earlier to avoid excessive heat, and recommended riders to stay hydrated.
• Mr. Davis will find out about the Rider’s Training course at Harley Davidson at Destination Daytona, as there are many members interested in participating.
