Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Range called the meeting to order at 6:34 PM ET. In-person participation count was 24
attendees. Mr. Range welcomed members present and mentioned that we will have a
Christmas celebration after the official business meeting.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the November 6, 2025, meeting as
presented on the website. Deborah Hinzman made a motion, seconded by Therese Davis.
Motion passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Range briefly reported on the following:
 Recap of the 3 November rides: Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum in Ocala, Native
Rhythms Festival and Woodpeckers barbecue in St Agustine.
 December 7 IMRG Multi Chapter ride to Mt. Dora. KSU at 10 AM from RaceTrac,
bring a toy for ages 6-16.
 Mike LeFiles, Indian of Daytona Beach GM has resigned his position. No replacement
has been announced yet.
 The IMRG Council has announced the appointment of a new Regional Coordinator
for the Southeast region: Ms. Brooke Chezem, who is the President of IMRG
Chattahoochee, GA.
Officers Elections
 Elected positions are for President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and
Marketing Director (the Executive Committee). All other positions are voluntary and
will be appointed by the Executive Committee. The following members were
nominated and elected unanimously:
 Fran Dougherty, President
 Ron Range, Vice President
 Therese Davis, Treasurer
 May Dougherty, Secretary
 Jeff Duckworth, Marketing Director.
 Joshua Benham remains as Web Director
 Bruce Davis and Therese Davis remain Activity Committee leaders
 Steve Morris remains as Safety Director
 Fran Dougherty remains as Membership Director

Vice President’s and Membership Report
 Mr. Dougherty reminded members present that membership renewals and dues are
coming up in January 2026. Members can download or submit their forms online, as
well as pay dues via credit card.
 Durango Rendesvouz event in June 2026, reminder to register early.
Treasurer’s Report
 Mr. Range, as acting Treasurer, reported on the chapter available funds.
Secretary Report:
 Ms. Dougherty had no news to report but thanked members for her reelection.
Web Director’s Report:
 Mr. Benham reminded members that our website is currently accepting
membership renewals, payment of dues and that IMRG patches can be purchased
online as well.
Safety Director’s Report
 Mr. Morris was absent.
Activities Committee’s Report
Ms. Davis reported on the following:
 Friday December 5 ride to benefit Magnolia Manor Assisted Living facility in
Daytona Beach. KSU from dealership at 1:30 PM.
 Sunday December 7 4 th Annual Multichapter IMRG Christmas party in Mt. Dora
from 11 AM to 4 PM, followed by a parade at 5 PM. KSU from RaceTrac at 9:30 AM.
 Bike Week 2026 planning is underway. Suggestions for food trucks are needed.
Ride Leader’s Report
Mr. Davis and Mr. Duckworth reported on the following:
 December 20 ride to Puddle Jumpers in Tavares. KSU 9:30 AM from dealership.
 Bike Week daily rides will be advertised by the Daytona Beach dealership. Mr.
Davis made a call for volunteers for ride leaders.
Adjournment
 Next meeting will be on Thursday January 8 at Houligan’s due to New Year’s holiday.
 With no further business, Mr. Range adjourned the meeting at 7:15 PM ET and
members proceeded to enjoy a Christmas celebration with games and prizes.
