Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group

Officers present:
Ron Range, President; Fran Dougherty, Vice President & Membership Director; May Dougherty,

Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Words from the President
Mr. Range called the meeting to order at 6:45 PM ET. In-person participation count was 17
attendees.
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Mr. Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the February 27, 2025, meeting as
presented on the website. Peter Kahuda made a motion, seconded by Doug Mayes. Motion
passed.
President’s Report
Mr. Range reported on the following:
o Bike Week 2025 was a success, he received very positive feedback and also
mentioned the exposure to YouTube influencers who featured our IMRG rides
on their channels. Thumbs up from the riders who joined the daily rides
organized by our IMRG.
o During the Webex call with the Southeast Region IMRG Presidents and VPs, it
was mentioned that Jason Price has available a red card for a $500 discount on
the purchase of a new 2025 Power Plus line motorcycle, in addition to the
$1,000 gold card Jared (Ambassador) has for the purchase of any model of the
2025 lineup. Contact Ron if interested.
o Honoring Heroes Indian Corporate program: veterans and first responders will
get one year of free factory warranty when buying a new motorcycle (go to
imrgrc.org)
Upcoming Rides:
o Sunday April 5 ride to JB Boondocks led by Bruce Davis. KSU at 10 AM departing
from RaceTrac.
o Ghost Riders weekend in St Agustine on April 11-12. There will be a scenic ride
to Holeshot dealership in Jacksonville on Saturday, followed by dinner at
Beaches at Vilano and the trolley tour in the evening.
o Multi Chapter ride to Lake Okeechobee on Saturday April 26. KSU at 8:30 AM
from RaceTrac.

Vice President’s and Membership Report
Mr. Dougherty reported on:
 Membership count is currently low due to website not having credit card payment
capability.
 Kudos to everyone who helped and volunteered during Bike Week, with a special
mention to Therese Davis from the Activities Committee.
 Distinguished Gentleman ride in May. If there is interest a group could meet and join the
ride in Daytona.
Treasurer’s Report
Ms. Kozinski was absent.
 Mr. Range reported on her behalf on the efforts to recover the IMRG funds currently at
the Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Range is working on the list of documents required by the
bank to retrieve the funds and close the account.
Action Item: Report outcome at next meeting.
Secretary Report:
 Ms. Dougherty praised everyone involved in making Bike Week a success.
 She also mentioned that Indian Ladies First is planning on traveling from Europe for
a group visit to Daytona Beach next year for Bike Week 2026.
 Updates on the International Female Day Ride on Saturday May 3 rd . Route planning
is underway.
Web Director’s Report:
Web Director Joshua Benham was absent.
Safety Director’s Report
Mr. Morris thanked everyone involved in the planning and leading of the daily rides during
Bike Week, which were highly successful. And he thanked all those who participated in the
rides.
Activities Committee’s Report
Ms. Davis reported on the following:
 Bike Week daily rides were a great success as others also mentioned.
 Bike Week IMRG tent outcome: our IMRG made a profit selling t-shirts, patches, tickets
for a ring toss game and raffles.
 For future events at the dealership, (Biketoberfest and Bike Week) volunteers will be
asked to stay at the tent for the full day vs a few hours.
 A flag with the IMRG logo has been ordered and will be ready in time for the Lake
Okeechobee ride.
 Upcoming suggested events:
o Tortugas baseball game
o River Cruise on Mother’s Day weekend possibly
o Planning for a Coast-to-Coast ride to Cedar Key on the second weekend of
November
o Suggestion for a charity ride to bring necessity items to Assisted Living facility.

Final Comments and Adjournment
Mr. Range commented that now that we will have a flag, he is planning on a Sunday group
ride departing from our dealership, so that we can take a group photo in front of the
building.
Not being any further business, Mr. Range adjourned the meeting at 7:40 PM ET.
