Monthly Meeting Minutes for the Indian Motorcycle Rider Group Daytona Beach #1949

Officers present:
Ron Range, Vice President; Steve Morris, Safety Director; Therese Davis, Treasurer; Jeff Duckworth,

Ron Range called the meeting to order at 6:38 PM ET
In-person participation count was 20 members and 2 guest
Ron Range welcomed all
Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
Ron Range asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the May 7, 2026 meeting as presented on
the website.

Vice President Report
Ron Range reported in the president’s absence.
 New members tonight (2) Sandy Schmitt and Arthur Fusco
 Took vote from members to approve purchase of IMRG poker chips. Everyone agreed it is a
good idea. It was decided to purchase some date specific (Biketoberfest and Bike week) and
some generic to share with other IMRG’s
 July IMRG meeting will be held on July 9 th due to the holiday
Treasurer’s Report
 Therese Davis reported on the current available funds in our bank account, as well as our t-
shirt and patch inventories
 Reported expenses for May of $47.93 to repair tear in IMRG awning

Secretary’s Report
Secretary May Dougherty not present (attending Durango bike rally)
Marketing Director’s Report
Marketing Director Jeff Duckworth mentioned the following:
 1 year ago we had about 1300 follows on our social media. Today with have over 2000
followers
 “tagging” individuals in posting ensures there are more views
 Mike Kennedy in an interview recently is still speaking of Daytona Beach Bike Week and our
IMRG
 5 individuals have achieved their “1901” in the past couple of weeks. Bruce Davis, Jeff

Web Director Joshua Benham mentioned the following:
 Website still works!
Safety Director’s Report:
Safety Director Steve Morris mentioned the following:
 If available it is suggested all take an Advanced Rider Course.
 If riding up to the Gathering, please ride together and be safe
Activities Committee’s Report
Committee member Therese Davis mentioned the following:
 Garage Sale and BBQ Saturday June 20 th 11 am – 3 pm at the dealership. IMRG tent will be
set up. Discount offered from dealership. Hot dogs/hamburgers will be served. Stop by to
visit!!
 First Responder Safety Course offered by LAMA’s in St Augustine Saturday July 25 th . 9 am –
5 pm. Cost is $50 (value $150) For information see Therese, Bruce or Steve
 Gathering in SC. Riding / Towing Leaving Wednesday Let me know if you need to be added
to the Facebook chat to better coordinate the trip
 Coast to Coast – Beach Bucket restaurant (OB) to Salinity Cedar Key; September 12 th and
13th
Ride Leader’s Report
Ride Leaders Bruce Davis and Jeff Duckworth reported on the following:
 Ride from Beach Bucket in Ormond Beach had 8 bikes. Nice ride, returned by noon
 Saturday June 6 ride , KSU from dealership at 10 am. Ice cream in Flagler
 Sunday June 28 ride west, KSU 9 am from Racetrak. Loop ride returning to area by noon
 Future Rides: July 11 – Riding South ; July 19 ride Kellie’s Ice Cream on National Ice Cream
